Today the poster arrived with FedEx. Fantastic quality! I'm very pleased and will come by to your gallery when I'm in NY in January.
Mr. Ross has the one of the finest collections of international vintage posters and prints. He was most helpful working with me to select a genre of work I collect. No trip to Manhattan is complete without stopping into Mr. Ross's Gallery on Madison Avenue to see his latest offerings.

The Ross Gallery has the best selection of vintage posters I have ever seen. Seriously, if you are in the market, they are the people. And, they know everything there is to know about the posters provenance.
I recieved the poster this evening via UPS. It looks fantastic! I'm very pleased with it.
If there's anything you want to know about posters, vintage or more modern, there's nothing Mr Ross doesn't know. His open and friendly manner helps one to choose the most suitable material whether for decoration, investment or whatever... I can't recommend him highly enough.
Mickey - We received the posters today and they are absolutely fantastic. Thanks again.
Really great service from start to finish. Shipping to the UK was not a problem and Mickey and his team gave me all the information I needed. Really happy with the poster too. A great addition to my living room wall. Thanks Again.
It was great meeting with you as well. I had a lot of choices of poster stores to visit while in New York, some less expensive, but I chose to only visit The Ross Art Group due to the level of service that I received initially and the quality of the posters. I really appreciate your communication and follow-up! I will recommend The Ross Art Group to anyone that will be looking for posters....
GREECE - OLYMPIA APOLLO
23.5” x 31.5”
The Greece Tourist Agency, during the late 1940’s and early 1950’s created a large number of beautiful travel posters for destinations in Greece . The country was hoping to enjoy some of the increased tourist traffic that was a result of newer airplanes and the improved economies of the world after the end of WWll. The Apollon of Olympia was part of the group of sculptures found in the west pediment of the Temple of Zeus at Olympia. Its original location also provides it with another name: the Apollon from the west pediment. It is one of the most important statues of the Severe style or early Classical style, dating from ca. 460 BCE. The statue is currently in the archaeological museum in Olympia.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.
