  • This is a vintage poster from WWII, commissioned by Douglas Aircraft Inc. It was designed by American artist Jack Campbell. Its message is about conserving resources to help the war effort. It plays upon the Anti-Japanese sentiment employed after Japan entered the war. This example is part of series of posters with this slightly vampiric looking Japanese caricature known as the Toyko kid, who mocked American workers.

This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.
