Norman Rockwell was a well-known illustrator and painter who was best known for his many magazine covers created mainly for the Saturday Evening Post. During World War ll he created a series of images based on Franklin Roosevelt’s 1943 speech devoted to the Four Freedoms. This poster is one on those Freedoms – from Want. Worth noting is that Rockwell included a partial self-portrait in the lower right corner of the image.
