During the 1937 World Fair in Paris, artist Jean Carlu was in charge of the Graphic Arts Pavilion. He commissioned images from Colin and Cappiello, and also created this poster himself. The face in profile is Marianne, symbol of the French republic, against a background of flags from the many participating nations. The design was printed in several sizes and languages. This is the smaller format with French text.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
