Raymond Savignac designed this poster for The Museum of Man in Paris in 1981, working a surrealist image of a man into the typography. Savignac was artistically self-taught and started his career working under the great Cassandre, but he developed a unique style all his own. His flat figures and lighthearted images were both charming and eye-catching, a perfect combination for advertising with mass appeal.
