This is an original poster from the original printing in 1956, and was designed by Inger Skjensvold Sorensen (1922 - 2006). In the Post World War ll Era, as the economoies of Europe were growing, tourism rose in prominence as a way of generating revenue for a country. In this charming image of a gloved hand holding a snow ball, if we look deeper into the image we view a number of scenes of people enjoying the skiing in Norway. The caption - A Fistful of Fun - represents the message very effectively. The country of Norway has always promoted itself as the birthplace of skiing.
This is an Original Vintage Poster, it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.
