This is a set of three posters by John Gallucci, who is also known for his watercolors. The Winter Olympic Organizing Committee commissioned them to promote the ski events held in Lake Placid during the Olympic Games of 1980. The highlight of that year's games was the American Ice Hockey team taking a gold medal after their famous "Miracle on Ice" game. Please note that each poster individually measures 24" x 35.5". This set features one poster that has been signed and numbered by the artist in a limited edition of 1000 and also features the Olympic Rings, the official emblem of the Games. If you are interested in purchasing just one poster out of the set, please scroll down to view them as they are sold separately as well.

These are Original Vintage Posters; not a reproduction. Each poster was printed on heavyweight paper and is in excellent condition.
We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.

  • If there's anything you want to know about posters, vintage or more modern, there's nothing Mr Ross doesn't know. His open and friendly manner helps one to choose the most suitable material whether for decoration, investment or whatever... I can't recommend him highly enough.

  • Just wanted to say thanks for the poster. You sent it on Thursday and it was delivered the following Monday (nearly quicker than it took us to get home) to our house in Perth, Australia. We have just had it framed. We love it; it goes perfectly with the room.

  • The Ross Gallery has the best selection of vintage posters I have ever seen. Seriously, if you are in the market, they are the people. And, they know everything there is to know about the posters' provenance.
