The TEAL company, formed in 1940, was originally formed to transport mail, passengers and cargo across the Tasman Sea between Australia and New Zealand, during World War II. It later became a passenger airline as well after the War. The shares of the company were originally held by the government of New Zealand, Union Airways, BOAC, and Qantas.Fiji is an island country located in the South Pacific Ocean about 1300 miles northeast of New Zealand's North Island. Fiji is composed of more than 330 islands, with approximately one million total inhabitants. The capital, Suva on Viti Levu, serves as Fiji's principal cruise port. Fiji has one of the most developed economies in the Pacific due to an abundance of forest, mineral, and fish resources. Today, the main sources of foreign exchange are its tourist industry and sugar exports. This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction.
