  • Loterie Romande-Carousel is a 1943 French-language Swiss lottery advertisement by Bes. The piece announces the lottery to be held on the 11th of December of that year. The artwork is fun and uses the allusion of winning the golden ring at a carousel to playing the Loterie Romande.

The Loterie Romande was founded by the Lottery Society of French-speaking Switzerland in 1937. These cantons are noted by the various crests in the artwork of the carousel. Loterie Romande currently participates in all forms of betting including lottery, scratch off games, sports betting and most recently online. The lottery benefits the public with much of the profit going towards social and charitable causes.
