  • Montfort l’Armaury is suburb of Paris established by the Monfort family and was built up by Armaury I in the 11th century. It is known for its ruins of a castle built in 996 by King Robert, depicted on this vintage travel poster. The tower structure was the donjon, or an inner tower in a Medival castle. Most of the outer structure fell during the Hundred Years War.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
