Aladdin is a c. 1930 advertisement for Francis Laidler's Aladdin pantomime performance at the Coliseum theatre in London's West End. The performance featured new music, elaborate scenery, and costumes that the Guardian newspaper referred to as “bewitching.” The lavish performance included coordinated rhythmic dancing, and imaginative scenes such as one featuring flamingos prancing around a magic lake.
