  • “Liberte” means freedom in French, and the artist Roger Bezombes chose to use butterflies as a symbol of the term, likening this colorful spirit of freedom to air travel with Air France. This vintage poster is one of a series of 16 that Bezombes designed for Air France. They which were published in a portfolio entitled “Vie du Monde.” Bezombes loved to use bright, solid colors, diverse graphic elements assembled with startling typography as we see in this stunning collage-like image.
