It’s a Savin’ Stampede!

Following the overwhelming positive response to our Tonto and Lone Ranger posters, we have just acquired the above series of Del Monte Round Up posters.

Similarly campy and fun, these rodeo-centric posters are true vintage gems. Printed by Del Monte in 1965, this complete series was used in supermarkets around the United States to advertise the canning company’s “Round-Up” Campaign. Starting in the 1940s and appearing biannually, Del Monte took advantage of the popular iconographies of cowboys and the West to encourage customers to ’round-up’ on canned peaches and veggies. This usually accompanied a sale on the goods; further encouragement for customers to buy in bulk.

We love this series as a set as well as individually.

Wonderful in an Arts and Crafts style cozy den, a fun midcentury kitchen, or a child’s playroom; the possibilities truly are endless for these Del Monte Round-Up pieces.

We just love these Del Monte posters as a set in a newborn’s room!
