This romantic poster recalls imagery from the Belle Époque era and promotes Moët Champagne, which has a 270 year history. Moët & Chandon , is a French fine winery and co-owner of the luxury goods company LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE. Moët et Chandon is one of the world's largest champagne producers and a prominent champagne house. Moët et Chandon was established in 1743 by Claude Moët, and today owns 1,190 hectares (2,900 acres) of vineyards, and annually produces approximately 28,000,000 bottles of champagne.
By the late 1800s this brand had a long-established reputation of glamour and prestige, associated with success and royalty.

Award winning artist Vince McIndoe was born in Brantford. Ontario, Canada. After graduating from the Ontario College of Arts and Design in 1985 with numerous scholarships, he became a celebrated illustrator as well as a successful fine artist. Vincent has designed a broad range of art including oil paintings, posters, stamps, and book illustrations as well as commercial advertising. Vince McIndoe, was chosen in the 1990’s by Moet to do a number of promotional posters. Here he draws inspiration from the great turn-of-the-century posters artists like Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and Jules Cheret to evoke the celebratory drink's impressive history. It is an image that is both reverential to the Belle epoque era but celebratory as well with a touch of whimsy.

  • Just wanted to say thanks for the poster. You sent it on Thursday and it was delivered the following Monday (nearly quicker than it took us to get home) to our house in Perth, Australia. We have just had it framed. We love it; it goes perfectly with the room.
