Bernard Perlin (1918-2014) is best known for his World War II posters as well as his long career as a fine artist in the style of Magic Realism. Perlin attended the New York School of Design and later the Arts Students League. Shortly afterward, he began work for the Office of War Information and later served as an artist correspondent for Life and Fortune magazines. His wartime posters are well known and highly collected including his “Let ‘Em Have It” and “Americans Always Fight For Liberty.”
