This charming image shows the buxom woman showing two of the liqueurs produced by Bardi which the poster shows as having begun their operations in 1892. The artist, Gino Boccasile (1901-1952) was an influential artist, who in his career adapted many of the concepts of the Art Deco influence but added a roundness and form to the sharper lines of classic art deco. He later created many posters for the Italian Government during World War ll. He is especially well known for creating a group of post-World War II advertising posters showing voluptuous women as is in poster.
