Here we have a Canadian wartime poster with a message similar to the US “Careless Talk” campaign posters. Due to the melting pot nature of the United States and the relative late involvement in the war, the North American countries were extremely attractive to spies. In this poster, the Canadian government asks its people to avoid discussing ship movements and other valuable information in the public setting as these snippets of information might be useful for enemy and easily compromise national security. This poster is in the permanent collection of Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.
