  • The "Grande Albergo Ardesio" opened its doors in the early twentieth century. Originally owned by the Maninetti Family it quickly became a holiday destination for the prestigious Lombard nobility.  In the sixties, after closure caused by the war, the Fornoni family acquired the property and reopened it. It continues to run it to this day. The unique format of this design is particularly striking. It was printed on 2 separate sheets and mounted together to form the overall image.
