This vintage poster commemorates an airplane exhibition held in Nancy, France. The competition included events for speed, altitude and duration. In 1912, newer models of airplanes were breaking new records in these categories. P.R Claudin created this poster to show the novelty of man flying higher than the birds to catch the public's attention.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
