{"product_id":"mon-velo-captivante-9434","title":"Mon Velo Captivante","description":"This original French advertising poster promotes Captivante bicycles with a humorous illustration of a young cyclist standing proudly beside his bicycle. A small dog at his feet carries a flower in its mouth, while the accompanying text reads: “...toujours le premier... qui pleuve... qui vente... avec son fin vélo CAPTIVANTE,” which translates approximately as, “...always the first... rain or shine... with his fine CAPTIVANTE bicycle.” The bold red and yellow lettering and simplified cartoon imagery give the poster the lively character typical of French commercial advertising of the period.The poster is signed “BOB” at the lower right. Little biographical information appears to be documented about the artist, who seems to have worked as a commercial illustrator. The poster was printed in France by Imp. Delcey in Dole. While various sources date the design differently, surviving examples are generally attributed to the 1920s–1930s.This is an Original Vintage Poster, it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all our posters.","brand":"Bob","offers":[{"title":"C1925 \/ 23.5 \/ 31.75","offer_id":51816255521014,"sku":"9434","price":1300.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0050\/5728\/2122\/files\/Mon-Velo-Captivante-Poster.jpg?v=1791581923","url":"https:\/\/postergroup.com\/products\/mon-velo-captivante-9434","provider":"The Ross Art Group","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
