This month marks 50 years since Mao Zedong began what is commonly referred to as the “Chinese Cultural Revolution”. This darker period in Chinese history is marked with a complete political and social overturn of China’s ancient cultural traditions. While the Chinese government has done very little to acknowledge the anniversary, the BBC released this interesting video on one man’s collection of Chinese Cultural Revolution posters.
