We are always interested in acquiring special pieces. Let's get in touch!

Czechoslovakia Will Live Again is a strong solidarity piece created by the artist, Peel in 1943. The poster advocates for Czechoslovakia in the face of appeasement. During World War II, the country was incorporated into Nazi Germany and its government operated in exile. Here the Czech flag can be seen prominently waved over the word "Appeasement", which has been crossed out. After the war, the country became part of the Soviet bloc until the Velvet Revolution of the late 1980's.

Peel produced a number of Pro-Allied propaganda posters during the Second World War. His artistic style is influenced by the artwork of Matisse, and reveals an interest in mixed media photography.

This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed and in excellent condition.

We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.
