The text below the central figure promotes the thermal cure resulting from bathing in the salt rich thermal waters of the area. Salsomaggiore Terme is a town and commune in northern Italy. It is located in the province of Parma, in the Emilia-Romagna region, located at the foot of the Apennines. It is a popular Spa town. The water is strongly saline. The main focus of the town lies in its baths, notably in the "terme" situated in the center of the town.
