This is a dynamically designed Swiss poster for the railroad that traverses the Alps. Featured here is the Gotthard tunnel, with a train conductor at work in the foreground. It is a bright and colorful image, with a painterly touch.

The Saint-Gothard-Loetschberg-Simplon, often referred to as the Gotthard-Basistunnel, represents a major milestone in Swiss railway engineering. This comprehensive project, encompassing the Gotthard Base Tunnel, the Lötschberg Base Tunnel, and the Simplon Tunnel, revolutionized rail travel through the Swiss Alps. The Simplon Tunnel, opened in 1906, was an engineering marvel of its time, linking Brig in Switzerland to Iselle in Italy. The Lötschberg Tunnel, inaugurated in 1913, facilitated a crucial north-south rail connection between Bern and the Italian border.
