The exotic flora of the Australian Outback is highlighted in this travel poster by female artist, Eileen Mayo. Sturt's Desert Pea, pictured here in accurate detail, is one of Australia's most beloved wildflowers and is the national flower of South Australia.
Dame Eileen Mayo (1906 - 1994) was born in England and emigrated to Australia in 1953. She is most well known for her paintings, illustrations, and prints of wildlife. She studied under Fernand Leger in Paris in the 1940s, and was highly prolific in almost every medium of art imaginable.
This is an Original Vintage Poster. It is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.

What Does 'Original' Mean?
We only deal in original vintage posters, never reproductions. This means that every poster is from the original print run, in the year listed in the description. Everything we sell comes with an individually signed certificate of authenticity, which we fully guarantee.
