American soldiers storm a beach embankment in this dramatic and scarce WWII war bond poster. A naval, ground, and air battle is in full swing, creating a sense of urgency for the viewer. This is the medium size variant of this image.
In America during WWII, every resource was poured into the war effort. With over 12 million Americans - 11% of the total population - serving in the armed forces, everything from food to labor was tight on the Home Front.
There is very little information we were able to find about the artist of this poster, signed "R. Moore".
