Issued by the United States Dept. of Information during the Second World War, this poster serves as a rallying cry for all Americans to serve their country as well as they can. It cleverly uses the flag with 48 stars to remind the viewer of their patriotic duty. This is the very hard to find extra large format of this image.
The artist of this poster was Charles Coiner (1898 - 1989). He was classically trained as an artist after attending the Chicago Academy of Fine art and The Art Institute of Chicago.
