The intimacy of fixing someone’s tie is a wonderful motif for this poster for the Gourdant shop in Vienne, France. The store specialized in hosiery, lingerie, and underpinnings which helps to explain the sensual composition of a man and women getting ready for an evening out. It is a wonderful Art Deco image from 1933, with clear inspiration taken from Paul Colin. The artist is Doudou Frapotat, of which little is known more than his name. This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.
