This image is part of a series of WWII posters published by the New Zealand Legation in Washington, D.C. as part of an educational campaign. The goal was to keep Americans informed that remote New Zealand was part of the Allied Forces and played a critical role in the Pacific Theater. The design is graphic and bold, showing the brave Kiwi soldiers patrolling a Pacific beach, bayonets in hand.
We were unfortunately not able to find out any biographical information out about the artist of this poster.
