Marc Chagall is best known for his dream-like images with colorful, floating figures and objects. He designed this poster in 1962 for the city of Nice, France. It says "Nice, Sun and Flowers" and includes the Bay of Angels (la Baie des Anges) in the background. This poster was printed using stone-lithography by Chagall himself and the Mourlot printers in Paris.
