This charming image was created in the 1950's by the highly regarded Italian artist, Gino Boccasile. It is an image for olive oil made by the Radino family. The message is that this olive oil taste as fresh in your salad as if it was just picked from the trees. The poster is well executed by Boccasile and is a welcome addition to a home setting.
Gino Boccasile (1901-1952) was an influential artist, who in his career adapted many of the concepts of the Art Deco influence but added a roundness and form to the sharper lines of classis art deco. He later created many posters for the Italian Government during World War ll.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
