In 1917 the government created three war bond campaigns. This vintage poster advertises one of those campaigns, known as the 2nd Liberty Loan drive. It uses the depiction of a ship of immigrants entering New York Harbor and other symbols of American Freedom in red, white and blue to create a sense of patriotism. It was also published in Yiddish and Italian.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
