This is an original vintage poster commissioned by the French Open Authority to promote the event held in the Roland Garros Stadium in Paris.This image was created in 1984 by the artist Gilles Aillaud. He expertly uses dabs of color to create the perspective of the crowd in the stands. The singles winners were Ivan Lendl in men's and Martina Navratilova in women's that year.
