This poster advertising travel to Spain presents a whimsical and warming image of the European country at sunset. Surrounded by vast orange and beige sands, the historic Castillo de Coca castle located in central Spain appears in the foreground of the image. The castle, haloed in a beam of yellow light, was constructed in the 15th century and is considered one of the best examples of Spanish Mudejar brickwork in Spain.
The artist of this poster, Jacques Henri Delpy (1877 – 1957) is known for the posters he created during the 1940s – mid 1950s advertising travel to Spain. Delpy’s posters demonstrate the stylistic tendencies of the surrealist and metaphysical art movements.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all our posters.

What Does 'Original' Mean?
