During World War 2 the United States Government issued a number of posters encouraging domestic workers to aid the war effort by increasing their production. This bold and well executed image very effectively stresses how teamwork and unity in the workplace leads to greater productivity.
The artist of this great image was David Stone Martin (1912-1992) . He was a classically trained graphic artist having attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
