We are always interested in acquiring special pieces. Let's get in touch!
Albert Brenet was the official artist for the French Navy and Air Force starting in 1936. He traveled by sea often, always carrying his sketchbook and documenting scenes both on the water and of life on board. He created many commemorative and promotional posters. This poster was created for Chargeurs Réunis (United Shippers) which transported cargo and passengers and was at one point the third-largest shipping company in Europe. The poster encouraged travel to France by showing off Paris' architecture, a famous café, and of course, fashion.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.

What Does 'Original' Mean?
We only deal in original vintage posters, never reproductions. This means that every poster is from the original print run, in the year listed in the description. Everything we sell comes with an individually signed certificate of authenticity, which we fully guarantee.
