The eighth largest commercial Airline in the United States, Frontier Airlines is an American low-cost carrier headquartered in Denver, Colorado. Frontier Airlines operates flights to over 100 destinations throughout the United States and six international destinations and employs more than 3,000 air-travel professionals (Wikipedia). Frontier Airlines has had two incarnations. The original Frontier operated from 1950 to 1986, when it was incorporated into Continental Airlines. The second Frontier Airlines was founded in 1994 and was purchased by Republic Airlines in 2009 (USA Today).
