The intimacy of fixing someone’s tie is a wonderful motif for this poster for the Gourdant shop in Vienne, France. The store specialized in hosiery, lingerie, and underpinnings which helps to explain the sensual composition of a man and women getting ready for an evening out. It is a wonderful Art Deco image from 1933, with clear inspiration taken from Paul Colin. The artist is Doudou Frapotat, of which little is known more than his name.
