Le Pays Du Sourire is a 1929 operetta advertisement by the artist George Dola. Translated into English as "The Land Of Smiles", is a romantic three act operetta by the German composer, Franz Lehar. The first performance premiered in Vienna on February, 9, 1923. The operetta was organized around the performance of the lead actor, Richard Tauber, and featured music written by Lehar for the performer. The operetta toured around the globe into the 1950's and was adapted to film several times.

The story centers on the romance of a Viennese Countess who marries a Chinese Prince, only to find that the Prince is custom bound to accept other wives. The Prince's true love for the Countess is eventually rejected, as he stands by his duty and tradition to his deep lament.

Edmond Vernier, better known as Georges Dola (1872-1950) was a French poster artist, best known for his opera and musical advertising posters. His artwork often featured beautiful women in fashionable dress of the time. He created over 200 posters throughout his career.
