Jean-Gabriel Domergue created this colorful vintage poster circa 1950. The poster was for Monte Carlo, where the artist lived. He rubbed elbows with high-society, organized formal balls, designed fashion accessories and was somewhat of a local celebrity. Women in his posters are always long-necked with delicate faces and depicted in rich colors. His poster style was befitting of the upper class luxuries he advertised.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.
