The International Exposition dedicated to Art and Technology in Modern Life, or the Paris Exposition, was held from 25 May to 25 November 1937 in Paris. The French Ministry of Commerce held a contest to determine which poster design would commemorate the event and this poster won the challenge. The artist, Eugene Beaudoin (1898 - 1983), was an architect working in Paris who entered the competition on a whim. He never produced another poster, but went on to become the director of architectural studies at a school in Geneva.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.

What Does 'Original' Mean?
We only deal in original vintage posters, never reproductions. This means that every poster is from the original print run, in the year listed in the description. Everything we sell comes with an individually signed certificate of authenticity, which we fully guarantee.
