This original vintage poster, designed by Scottish artist William Miller Frazer (1864–1961), promotes Perth, affectionately known as "The Fair City," as Scotland's holiday center. The artwork presents an expansive landscape view from Kinnoull Hill, with the spires of Perth visible in the middle distance and the River Tay winding gracefully through the scene.
Frazer, born in Scone near Perth, was a renowned landscape artist and a member of the Royal Scottish Academy. His works often depicted the natural beauty of Scotland, and this poster exemplifies his ability to convey the tranquil charm of the Scottish landscape.
This is an original vintage poster, not a reproduction. It has been conservation mounted, and linen backed, ensuring its excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all our posters.

  • Just wanted to say thanks for the poster. You sent it on Thursday and it was delivered the following Monday (nearly quicker than it took us to get home) to our house in Perth, Australia. We have just had it framed. We love it; it goes perfectly with the room.

  • The Ross Gallery has the best selection of vintage posters I have ever seen. Seriously, if you are in the market, they are the people. And, they know everything there is to know about the posters' provenance.
