Trouville La Reine is a French Travel poster from 1933 by the artist, Arte.
This is an original stone lithographic print for the beach and casino destination in the city of Trouville. Trouville is located in the northern region of Normandy along the bank of the Touques River at the English channel.
Trouville began to develop as a resort destination in the mid-19th Century with access as a port city and by railway. The artwork features the Casino De Trouville Sur Mer, built in 1912. By the 1930's the area had numerous resorts and casinos to compete with the neighboring town of Deauville. The text promotes Trouville as the "Queen of Beaches" and features a pin up of a young woman in fashionable swim attire.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.

What Does 'Original' Mean?
We only deal in original vintage posters, never reproductions. This means that every poster is from the original print run, in the year listed in the description. Everything we sell comes with an individually signed certificate of authenticity, which we fully guarantee.
