Henri Le Monnier was a very prolific poster artist and oil painter between 1924 and 1954, although we know little about his personal life. He created this poster for a company that produced fertilizer especially formulated for grapes. The large size of the grapes makes for both a compelling, eye-catching image as well as a testament to the benefits of using the product to increase grape yields.
