The smiling character in this vintage poster leans relaxed against a large bottle of Kiravi wine, content as can be with his full glass. He asserts that the wine "delights me." This particular brand was a popular table in wine in France during the 1950s and 60s. Jean Colin, the artist, studied at the prestigious Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and created social propaganda posters during the Occupation in WWII. By the 1950s he was a very well-known graphic artist and designed many successful product posters like this one.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
