This poster, sponsored by the Shell Oil Company in 1966 is an advertisement promoting International Women's Week in Cannes, France. The exposition took place from February 5 to 27th and worked to empower women of the world by holding various activities and events in which woman could participate and compete in. This poster in particular, "Women and Sport" focuses on sporting events, and in the central most portion of the image are dates, locations and accompanying sports.

The poster, in colors of red and yellow utilizes the official company colors of Shell and features black and white illustrations of women on the upper right and bottom corners.
