The image demonstrates the natural beauty of the popular destination, Lake Loen in Norway. A woman in red with hiking gear looks off into the distance. Ahead of her lies a scene of blue skies, greenery, an azure lake and grandiose mountains.
Photographer, John Tedford is known for his photographs of natural scenes in Norway. Tedford also created a photograph of a woman and man on a canoe in Lake Loen which appears on a 1958 Scandinavian Airline Systems (SAS) poster.
