Our America - From Oil Well to Refinery 1
Our America - From Oil Well to Refinery 1
(81cm x 56cm)
The Our America – From Oil Well to Refinery poster is the first of four posters in the Oil set which were part of an educational series commissioned by the Coca-Cola Company in 1942 and created by an anonymous artist.
The series focused on American industry and were utilized as classroom aides during WWII. The first of the oil set, the poster demonstrates the process in which oil has been refined throughout time. The predominant image, an American oil field, is flanked by 8 smaller vignettes which depict the process of oil refining.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters. This poster was printed on heavyweight paper and is in excellent condition.

If there's anything you want to know about posters, vintage or more modern, there's nothing Mr Ross doesn't know. His open and friendly manner helps one to choose the most suitable material whether for decoration, investment or whatever... I can't recommend him highly enough.

Just wanted to say thanks for the poster. You sent it on Thursday and it was delivered the following Monday (nearly quicker than it took us to get home) to our house in Perth, Australia. We have just had it framed. We love it; it goes perfectly with the room.

The Ross Gallery has the best selection of vintage posters I have ever seen. Seriously, if you are in the market, they are the people. And, they know everything there is to know about the posters' provenance.
