Victor Spahn (1949- ) is a French photographer of Russian heritage. Born on March 20, 1949 in Paris, France, he studied under the Lyrical Abstractionist André Lanskoy. After his studies, the artist worked primarily with mosaic tiles, later developing his current style of printmaking and painting. Known for his depiction of sporting events, he is nicknamed as "the Painter of the Movement." His style includes the directional blurs shown in this poster, which vividly captures the speed of the racing horses and the swing of the polo players in this poster. Spahn currently lives and works in Montparnasse, France.
This is an Original Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is printed on heavy weight paper, and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.

What Does 'Original' Mean?
We only deal in original vintage posters, never reproductions. This means that every poster is from the original print run, in the year listed in the description. Everything we sell comes with an individually signed certificate of authenticity, which we fully guarantee.
