Precision Training Means Precision Bombing' is an American WWII poster created for training purposes. It shows a then state-of-the-art bomber plane completing a successful factory bombing.

This poster was created during WWII by the U.S. Army Air Force. Precision bombing is a tactic of maximizing results while minimizing any collateral damage. It was widely embraced by the US Air Force as an alternative to carpet bombing, given the amount of city raids conducted during WWII air battles in Europe. Precision bombing requires intense communication not just between the pilot and bomber, but also with troops on the ground.

This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.

  • Just wanted to say thanks for the poster. You sent it on Thursday and it was delivered the following Monday (nearly quicker than it took us to get home) to our house in Perth, Australia. We have just had it framed. We love it; it goes perfectly with the room.
